American Infrastructure Technologies Corporation, (AITC) is a utility construction company specializing in analysis, maintenance and rehabilitation of pipelines for municipal and industrial use. AITC organized in February 2005 and began operation in November of the same year. The company was formed by Kenneth Giddens and Tim Bixler. Both Ken and Tim come from extensive backgrounds in the sewer, pipeline and heavy construction industry. Ken Giddens previously owned S&D Excavating Inc. and Southeastern Infrastructure Systems Inc., (SIS). SIS primarily operated as a trenchless pipeline rehabilitation company utilizing cured in place pipe developed by C.I.P.P. Corporation. C.I.P.P. Corporation was formed in 1996 by five contractors specializing in sewer rehabilitation. Kenneth Giddens was one of the principles of C.I.P.P. corporation and is currently a principle and on the Board of Directors. Tim Bixler has had vast experience working in the industry and developed a cured in place pipe system for Bolden Pipe Co.. Most recently Tim was Construction Manager for Miller Pipeline in their sewer rehabilitation division. Ken and Tim have participated in the rehabilitation of over a million feet of pipeline by pipelining, sliplining, pipe bursting, and grouting. Both possess the knowledge and experience to identify and provide the best solution for any situation.
